Concrete Polishing · Albuquerque, NM
Turn Dull Concrete Into a Mirror-Finish Floor
Mechanical grinding, honing, and polishing — plus densifier and sealer — for a glassy, low-maintenance floor with nothing to peel.

Polished concrete is the floor that isn't a coating at all — it's your actual slab, refined. We grind the concrete with progressively finer diamond tooling, harden it with a lithium-silicate densifier, and polish it to the sheen you want, from a soft satin to a full mirror gloss. A penetrating sealer finishes the job.
Because there's no film sitting on top of the slab, there's nothing to peel, chip, or delaminate. Maintenance is a dust mop and an occasional damp mop. It's the go-to choice for retail, restaurants, offices, and modern homes — anywhere you want concrete's industrial character with a refined, light-reflective finish.
Why concrete polishing?
Nothing to peel
No coating film means no delamination, ever. The shine is in the concrete itself, not on top of it.
Lowest lifetime maintenance
No waxing, no resealing every few years. Dust mop daily, damp mop as needed — that's the program.
Reflects light beautifully
A polished floor bounces light around the room, making spaces feel bigger and brighter — great for retail and open-plan homes.
Extremely hard surface
Densifier chemically hardens the concrete, dramatically improving abrasion resistance and dust-proofing.
Stain-guarded
The penetrating sealer resists oils and spills long enough for cleanup — a huge upgrade over raw concrete.
Green & healthy
No topical coatings, no VOC-heavy films. Just refined concrete — ideal for schools, clinics, and health-conscious homes.
Our installation process
- 1
Assess & grind
We evaluate the slab's hardness and condition, then grind with coarse metal-bond diamonds to flatten and remove old coatings or stains.
- 2
Hone progressively
Resin-bond diamonds step through finer and finer grits — typically 100, 200, 400, 800 — refining the scratch pattern at each stage.
- 3
Densify
Lithium-silicate densifier soaks in and chemically hardens the concrete, closing pores and preparing it for a true polish.
- 4
Polish to sheen
High-grit resin diamonds (1500–3000) bring out the gloss. You choose: matte, satin, semi-gloss, or full mirror.
- 5
Seal & burnish
A penetrating stain-guard sealer goes down, then a final high-speed burnish locks in the shine. Walk on it immediately.
For homeowners
Polished concrete is a favorite for modern desert homes — it pairs beautifully with stucco, vigas, and Santa Fe style, stays cool underfoot in summer, and never needs refinishing. It's also ideal for additions and casitas built on slab.
One honest note: polished concrete shows the slab's history. Cracks, patches, and aggregate patterns become part of the character. If you want a perfectly uniform look, a flake coating system is the better choice — we'll show you both.
For businesses
This is the premier commercial concrete finish: big-box retail, grocery, restaurants, showrooms, and office lobbies across Albuquerque run on polished concrete because it handles foot traffic for decades with minimal upkeep.
We can polish around your schedule — nights and weekends — and most spaces stay partially operational during the work. For warehouses with forklift traffic, we polish to a durable satin that hides wear.
